1. Why the University of Bielsko-Biala (Akademia Techniczno-Humanistyczna)?

In short because:

  • this is the only public university in the Podbeskidzie region,
  • it boasts a long academic tradition that goes back to 1969 (when the University was founded as a branch of Łódź University of Technology - Politechnika Łódzka),
  • it puts an emphasis on the international cooperation and offers numerous opportunities for trainings and internships abroad as well as participation in some foreign studies programs (it has entered into over 85 bilateral agreements with universities in 20 countries),
  • it organizes and takes part in interesting events such as, for example, The Beskid Festival of Science and Art or The Silesian Researchers’ Night,
  • it provides opportunities to participate in various supplementary courses being part of European programs, facilitating the process of commencing their own economic activity by students and graduates.
